Montreal CSETI
Team & CE5 Working Group
Report #8
Montreal, Canada
August 10th
, 2024
·
10pm – 11pm : team members do the CE5 protocols,
coordinate the working site, and set up the film equipment.
·
All of the filmed observations were recorded within roughly 20 minutes of each
other, between 3:20am and 3:40am.
·
Sunrise and sunset was approximately 8pm and
6:00am, outside the 1 – 2 hour margin of high satellite visibility.
The following observations have been documented and recorded
on video and/or audio and can be found in our corresponding CE5 video report :
- (A) A “flash bulb” is filmed.
- (B) A dim object passes across the sky and a second flash is filmed nearby it.
- (C) Two unknown aircraft are filmed flying in pair in the direction of the previous (B).
- (D) A brighter object is filmed in the relative area as (B).
- (E) A dim fast-moving object is filmed.
- (F) A brighter fast-moving object is filmed in the relative area as (E).
- (G) A slower pulsing object is filmed.
- (H) A second similar object to the previous is filmed (G).
Parallel Observations
-
1:30am – 2:00am – The flashlight, laser pointer, and camera battery
simultaneously are drained to 0% and stop working. The camera battery
normally takes several hours to recharge to 100%, but after charging for
only a few minutes, it returns to nearly full capacity. At the same time,
the flashlight and laser pointer begin working again without being
recharged. This type of temporary battery drainage has been documented
before during CE5 expeditions.
-
The majority of the filmed observations were not visible to the
participants at the time of their occurrence. Only after review of the
videos were they noted by the team.
